Dan Dodds BSc (Hons) MArch PGDip ARB
Dan is an ARB registered architect who has worked at STUFISH since 2013. He studied architecture at University College London and the University of Westminster, qualifying as an architect in 2016.
His specialism in computational design ensures an efficient workflow during the design of complex forms with tight construction limitations. He works across a wide range of touring and permanent entertainment projects, using his interest in lightweight structures and mathematical patterns to help design innovative and technically advanced proposals.
Dan started his career at STUFISH working on large scale architectural projects including Dai Show Theatre and Han Show Theatre for Dalian Wanda Group in China. His understanding of algorithm based design was used to aid the development of cladding schemes for both projects. He has also played an important role in the concept design of proposals for a range of unique theatres and event spaces, as well as a number of cutting edge leisure and entertainment projects in the USA, Middle East, Asia and Russia.
Dan has worked on a variety of touring and one-off shows including Queen & Adam Lambert's 2016 Summer Festival Tour, One Direction's 2015 X Factor Final show, and ACDC's 2016 Rock or Bust Tour. He is a great fan of hard rock and metal music, and particularly enjoys the live music scene in London. Working at STUFISH has allowed him to combine his passion for design with a strong interest in enhancing the audience experience at live music events.
Before joining STUFISH, he developed his knowledge of the construction industry while working at Walters and Cohen Architects on a number of educational buildings including a complex phased rebuild of an inner London secondary school, and a boat building college in Portsmouth.
