Mark Fisher - Biography

Mark has designed shows events and portable architecture for the most famous names in popular entertainment and sports.  His entertainment credits include the most memorable touring rock concerts ever staged: ‘The Wall’ for Pink Floyd in 1980, ‘Steel Wheels’ for the Rolling Stones in 1989, and ‘360º’ for U2 in 2009.  He was chief designer for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.  His theatre shows include the West End hit ‘We Will Rock You’, and two permanent shows - ‘KÀ’ and ‘Viva Elvis’- for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.  Expo installations include the Millennium Show at the Dome in London and Aquamatrix, the lagoon show at Lisbon Expo98.  Architectural projects include the theatre for KÀ at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and the Golden Atrium at the Wynn resort in Macau.
