The set for The Rolling Stone No Filter tour is a cool display of clean and modern simplicity stripped of any superfluous decor. The four monolithic towers of LED screens stand 22m tall above the stage and give this set it's clean and unique silhouette.
The design moves away from the usual 2D appearance of LED screens by including a LED return to each side of the screens to give them a unique 3D slab like look. This is further accentuated by the horizontal strip of lights that are embedded in a vertical recess at the top of the screens.
The two outer towers rotate outwards and help break up the composition and moves away from the conventional flat back drop. Hovering heroically over the band is the 12m cantilever clear span roof.
Each of the four main structural fingers encase the multitude of moving lights to give the band area the same clean and modern look synonymous with the rest of the design without compromising on the fire power required for a spectacular light show. A simple T shaped catwalk and b-stage takes the action deep into the audience and complements the minimalist approach of this tours set design.
