The Really Useful group wanted to tour their successful theatre show around the world. Stufish was tasked to create a modern setting for this well-known show that would stand the rigours of an arena tour without losing the connection the show made with its theatre going audience. The result was an impressive set. The stage emulates the Potemkin Stairs. The show concept echoes the political demos of 2011 and is set against cinematic newsreel and modern media mix with live on screen video feed from the performers. This gave the performance a multilevel performance area set in front of a large video screen backdrop aided by live musicians who framed the performance from the edge of the stage.
